Summertime is open-air time—and of course that goes for Albstadt too! The **Albstadt Band Summer** is kicking off a new season and will once again bring plenty of music, good vibes, and a real festival atmosphere to Bürgerturmplatz in Albstadt-Ebingen in 2026. Run-up, headfirst dive, deep-sea rock! When Fischer takes the stage, you get classic rock with plenty of emotion, a dash of nu metal, screamo, great German lyrics, and a morbid zest for life. At the tender age of six, Sven Fischer discovered his love for loud music in Reutlingen, Swabia. His parents supported him and gave him his first drum set, much to the delight of the neighbors. And since little Fischer couldn’t sing well, he just screamed along. The foundations for a career as a rock musician were laid. Fischer developed into a sought-after studio and live drummer, yet he wanted more. He had something to say, and Fischer began writing down these thoughts and recording his first original songs himself. Then, in 2024, the release of his first demo album and a showcase that is enthusiastically received by the audience and catches the attention of music industry managers. Fischer himself describes his music as having echoes of Rammstein, but also a dash of Santiano… How does that fit together? It works! In any case, this “Fischer Deep Sea Rock” is always a wild mix of musical power and a clear message. “My goal is to dive to the lightless ocean floor together with the fans and rock abandoned souls back to the surface,” says Fischer in his own uniquely dark-yet-joyful rock lyrics. Just like in the song “Für Immer,” which he dedicated to a deceased friend and which carries both tragedy and hope. A hymn to life, even in death. “Fischer Live” is a truly special experience.
