Pop, soulful indie, and powerful rock Band from Tuttlingen Last Mantra is a five-piece alternative band from Tuttlingen. Their sound spans deep pop, soulful indie, and powerful rock. The result is music with depth that deliberately blurs genre boundaries. Many of the band members had already played music together in various band configurations before the band’s official formation in October 2023, which contributes to a palpable sense of camaraderie among the artists. This deeply attuned chemistry between members Julia Lepszy (lead singer), Cody Hoglund (guitarist & backing vocalist), Jonny Esposito (lead guitarist), Max Kollmar (bassist), and Svenja Lepszy (drummer) can be seen and felt in their music, as well as in the overall atmosphere of their live performances. In their music, Last Mantra brings human experiences of various kinds to life. Their songs address meaningful, tangible, and profound themes, thereby captivating a diverse group of listeners. In the winter of 2023, the single “December Rain”—already the band’s fourth release—was released, followed by their first music video. Since then, Last Mantra has been performing regularly on stages throughout the region, including at the Honberg Summer Festival, the city festivals in Tuttlingen and Möhringen, Indie Rock Night, and the Singer-Songwriter Festival in Tafersweiler.
