**Gala Concert for the 611th Schwyzertag** For over 600 years, Tiengen has commemorated the legendary raid by the Swiss Confederates with a festive mass and a large folk festival. For many years now, this folk festival has been opened with a gala concert by the Church Choir of the Assumption (often together with partner choirs and guest singers). Festive choral music accompanied by an orchestra is the centerpiece of these festive concerts.
