Who lived here before the Romans came? A glance at the mighty Donnersberg with its imposing ring wall structure reveals the answers.
Follow in the footsteps of the Romans: old wall remains in the forest near Dreher Kopf tell of their life in the 4th century.
The path leads over the historic Daubenbornerhof to the former castle Breidenborn – now vanished, but its history lives on in old boundary stones and field names.
Finally, you will find rebuilt Celtic burial mounds in the forest sections Zollstock and Daubenborner Heide – a fascinating insight into the ancient culture of our region.
