Lake Constance Festival: Familie Flöz

A wordless fairy tale for adults FESTE tells the story of the silent figures in the shadow of glamour—the staff of a villa where a wedding is being prepared. While the front of the house is abuzz with celebration, the back is the scene of a struggle for survival, dignity, and recognition. The arrival of a heavily pregnant stranger brings movement into the rigid structures—relationships change, boundaries shift. What seems solid begins to waver. Through poetic images and without words, FESTE shows how change becomes possible—if one allows it. A touching, tragicomic reflection on human longings, social hierarchies, and the power of empathy. FESTE is a co-production by Familie Flöz, Theaterhaus Stuttgart, Theater Duisburg, and Lessing Theater Wolfenbüttel. Funded by the Capital Cultural Fund.
