Regina Aust is a singer, musician, and storyteller.
In this one-woman show, she recounts, sings, and acts out the story of her father Georg’s expulsion.
In 1945, Georg was expelled from Waldenburg in Lower Silesia along with his mother Adelheid, his sisters, and the entire parish.
His mother died during the expulsion and was buried somewhere along the railroad tracks.
Three decades later, in 1975, a dramatic search took place along the railroad tracks in Poland.
What was the outcome? Stay tuned.
