Pippo Pollina & the Acoustic Quartet

A reunion with the Sicilian singer-songwriter, who is celebrating life on tour with a new lineup and his new album “Fra guerra e pace”: “Life is beautiful just as it is,” even in these times of war. Pippo Pollina, the versatile Sicilian musician, has been active as one of the most creative artists on the European singer-songwriter scene for more than thirty years. Countless album releases, international tours, and prestigious collaborations (including with Georges Moustaki, Konstantin Wecker, and Werner Schmidbauer) have earned him this special status, which he has built through consistency and dedication both in the studio and live on stage. His music is great art, full of wonderful melodies and equally wonderful lyrics. Accompanied by cellist Cecile Grüebler, pianist Elisa Sandrini, percussionist Gionata Colaprisca, and clarinetist Roberto Petroli, he will bring his new concert project—with a chamber music character—to stages across Europe. His album “Fra guerra e pace,” released in December 2025, is a political statement, a poetic warning, and also a glimmer of hope in turbulent times. It tells of historical and contemporary events of war and of what they do to people.
