Hike over the Utzenfluh to the Hirtenhütte

We begin our hike at Utzenfeld Town Hall with hiking guide Andreas Gabriel, passing through Utzenfluh and the Allmend pastures—a beautiful nature reserve—on our way to the newly built shepherd’s hut.
Along the way, we’ll learn about how the pastures were maintained and managed in the past and today, as well as about the region, the community, and the nature reserve. Distance: 10.3 kilometers with 223 meters of elevation gain.
