Summer Concert: Piano Duo Italia

Program: Schiavo - Marchegiani Rossini Overture to “The Italian Girl in Algiers” Mozart Sonata in B-flat major, K. 358 Rossini Overture to “The Barber of Seville” Brahms 4 Hungarian Dances Dvořák 3 Slavonic Dances Rossini Overture to the opera “The Thieving Magpie” Over its more than 60-year history, the Cultural Office of Eberhard Karls University has invited a wide variety of orchestras, chamber music ensembles, and soloists to Tübingen. Subscription concerts have been held since 1959, and since 1963, the Cultural Office has organized summer concerts at Bebenhausen Monastery as well as winter concerts in the ballroom of the university’s Neue Aula. To date, the Cultural Department has organized approximately 5,000 concerts. The diverse program consists of symphony concerts, recitals, chamber music concerts, and song recitals.
