English Tourists

This smooth duo of old hands (or as the OP from August 13, 2025 writes: "Marburg rock stalwarts") consists of the Marburg natives Fredy Haas (Voc/Git) and Andreas Rein (Git/Voc/Chicken shake). Both have spent their (un)lives over the decades separately in such different bands as The Roverbeats, The Sinclairs, Mystery, Mayday, The Midnight to Six Men, The Vibrokings, Damp Dale Daisies, and in various equally exciting solo projects.

Alongside their original compositions, they draw from the psychedelic 60s through the 80s to desert rock and heavily folky sounds, mixing all these musical worlds into one big pot in this formation. The audience, just like the two protagonists, should be curious about what will come out with really small utensils at this performance.
In any case, one can look forward to two- and multi-part vocals. It is indeed a special occasion: The band's first long-player in vinyl format will be presented, and the gentlemen will also have a few copies on hand! Regarding the LP, the songs of which will be presented among others on this day, the Oberhessische Presse on August 13, 2025 wrote: "Entirely honest, unfiltered acoustic songs with a joy in strumming and unpretentious singing." One remembers: Exactly two years ago, the "English Tourists" gave their celebrated sold-out debut concert at Q, Marburg. Since then, further gems of musical culture have followed. So let us gladly experience them again – this time in the cool Waggonhalle!
