Geführte Wanderung "Panorama, Natur und Bergbau"

Our route begins in the Mechernicher Forest and initially leads us to Lorbach. There, we circle the Lorbacher Hausberg on a wide loop. During the hike, breathtaking panoramic views open up repeatedly all the way to the Siebengebirge. The gentle hills, expansive fields, and idyllic forest sections make this part of the hike a special nature experience. On the way back, we will encounter the Kallmuther Berg nature reserve. Here, we hike through heathlands and past species-rich, untouched meadows – a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. The tour is rounded off with a look into the past: we will examine some relics of the long-standing mining tradition in Mechernich.
