Every day, numerous hot air balloons take off in Gosau, in the district of Mittertal, at Holzmeisterfeld near the gas station. They ascend in no time and adorn the sky, as if giant colorful spheres were hanging over Gosau. Join us and be enchanted by the vibrant variety.
The highlight of the week is the Night of the Balloons at the Hornspitz valley station, expected on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. There are countless balloon launches daily between 09:00 and 11:00 AM.
Throughout the week, there are also opportunities to ride in a hot air balloon. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama from a bird's eye view.
