Celebrate 130 years of GRAND HOTEL Zell am See

The Grand Hotel Zell am See is celebrating its 130th anniversary on Friday, July 10, 2026 – a special milestone that will be marked with a diverse day program for both guests and locals. Set against the impressive backdrop of Lake Zell, this traditional establishment combines history, enjoyment, and entertainment into an unforgettable experience. Starting at 12:00 PM, the pianist will provide a stylish musical introduction.

In the afternoon, personal memories and enjoyment will take center stage: a photo booth will capture special moments. Throughout the day, the "Emperor" (a costumed actor) will be in the house, strolling through the venue, and guests will have the opportunity to take pictures with "His Majesty."

The festive evening will begin at 6:30 PM with a reception on the lake terrace, followed by the presentation of the book "Zell am See and its Grand Hotel" by owner Dr. Wilfried Holleis.

An elegant anniversary gala dinner will be the culinary highlight of the day. From 9:00 PM, live music at the lakeside bar with the "First Line Band" will provide a lively conclusion to the festivities.
