NATURE, CULTURE & GOURMET DAY AT KITZSTEINHORN
At the most beautiful viewpoints, traditional alphorn sounds can be heard, while the Gletschermühle restaurant invites guests for a morning drink: Enjoy and purchase Pinzgau specialties at tasting stands, while Pinzgau manufacturers offer handmade spice mills and ceramics.
As a midday special, farmers' doughnuts and a "Bratl" (Austrian roast pork) will be served. Additionally, the Sumpfpitzinga from Maishofen create the perfect atmosphere with their energetic interpretation of traditional dance music.
At 2:00 PM, all alphorn groups will gather on the terrace of the Gletschermühle to conclude the day in style. For an extra dose of nature and culture, rangers from the Hohe Tauern National Park will be on hand during the day: On the "Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour" through four climate zones and the free "National Park Gallery Tour," they provide exciting insights into the mountain world of the Hohe Tauern – an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
