Austrian musician and lawyer Dr. Klaus Waldeck usually performs under his name Waldeck, but he is also known as Dr. Waldeck and as part of the act and producer of Saint Privat & Zeebee. On Spotify, he has around 150,000 followers and approximately 780,000 monthly listeners.

Some of his albums have been crowned with great success. The Night Garden spent 7 weeks in the Austrian album sales charts. International companies such as Mercedes Benz, mobile operator A1, and Versace use his music in advertisements.

His seventh studio album, The Moon And The Orient, is dedicated by Claus Waldeck, the Grand Vizier of Viennese electronics, to bottle spirits and Scheherazades. This music enchants with an oriental atmosphere and a strong sense of riddles, wonders, and surprises.

With familiar precision, the compositions explore the playful forms of the chosen genre and ultimately blend into the unmistakable Waldeck sound, which feels both familiar and likable. The rhythms often creep in like cobras from their baskets, maintaining tension from the first to the last beat. Longing and exoticism caress and fuel cool arrangements, while hidden desires push for resolution and return.
