Dr. Klaus Sauerbeck, in the role of a good friend of Silent Night poet Joseph Mohr, sensitively and empathetically narrates the song's origin story—a tale filled with drama, emotion, and faith in God. In between the stories, the well-known singer from radio and television, Reiner Kowalski, performs many familiar German Christmas songs live, which not only complement the exciting stories but also invite the audience to clap and sing along, creating a beautiful festive atmosphere in the church. Let yourself be transported into the world of Joseph Mohr while listening to the music and texts, and feel the magic of Christmas along with the peace and joy of the Holy Night—here in Hintersee, where Joseph Mohr served as a parish vicar for about nine years.
