After "The Raft of the Medusa" and "The Conquest of America," Franzobel tells the adventurous story of the conquest of the North Pole in "A Hundred Words for Snow." He will read from his new book at Arkadenkultur; this work is a heroic song about the struggle for survival of a nearly extinct people who have proven how humans can survive even in the most inhospitable regions.
