No one goes to a BOSSE concert just once. Those who have experienced how this charismatic performer works on stage, delivering his unique blend of indie rock, alternative, and pop, and how he merges with the audience during hits like "Der letzte Tanz" or "Schönste Zeit," and how he exhilarates the masses, will want to relive that experience and bring as many friends as possible. However, the passionate live performances are just one side of the artist – the foundation for them is laid with his lovingly crafted albums, which expand classic singer-songwriter traditions towards pop and indie rock. However, the early success turns out to be a bubble; the deal falls apart, as does the band, and Axel quickly finds himself alone again with his talent.

One of his core qualities is his unwavering belief in his abilities, his persistence, and his endurance. Nothing in his career has been handed to BOSSE; he has never been part of a hype, a casting show, or a marketing campaign. He simply kept going, playing every concert as if it were a matter of life and death – whether in front of ten paying customers in a provincial dive or tens of thousands on a festival main stage.

The turning point in his career comes in 2009 with the album "Taxi," produced with his last scraped-together money and the help of friends, driven by the single "3 Millionen," which enters the Top 100 for the first time. Suddenly, the audience at his concerts multiplies, BOSSE's legendary reputation as a showman spreads, and record labels line up to secure a collaboration.

From then on, it’s all uphill: in 2011, the album "Wartesaal" reaches number 9 in the charts, in 2013 "Kraniche" reaches number 4, both later certified gold. From then on, every album makes it into the Top 5, with "Engtanz" and "Alles ist jetzt" hitting number 1. The single "Schönste Zeit" becomes an anthem for Generation X and goes platinum, while "Der letzte Tanz" dominates the TikTok charts for weeks.

Simultaneously, BOSSE explodes as a live event. More than 700 concerts have transformed the already highly motivated performer Axel Bosse into an entertainer and bandleader in the style of Robbie Williams or Bruce Springsteen, who is always aware of what his large band is doing while maintaining a connection with the audience. BOSSE manages to address every visitor directly even at arena concerts and creates an atmosphere at club shows like a private party. He evokes universal feelings for multiple generations, shakes people up, comforts, and motivates with his optimism. He also consistently uses this for political work. His commitment to the drinking water charity Viva Con Agua has been ongoing for years, along with support for Hanseatic Help, Jamel rockt den Förster, Dein Topf, and of course, always taking a strong stance against any right-wing tendencies. With his initiative "Hirn gegen Hass" (Brain Against Hate), he uses his voice and reach to call for more dialogue, education, and humanity. Over 40,000 euros have been raised through the "Hirn gegen Hass" campaign and donated to Aktion Courage e.V. and the network "Schule ohne Rassismus – Schule mit Courage."
