Walser Trail Challenge 2026

Challenging. Alpine. Pure trail running. A weekend full of challenges on the most beautiful mountain paths in Kleinwalsertal awaits trail runners in 2026 as well. Organized by trail runners for trail runners! The Walser Trail Challenge 2026 will take place from July 25 to 26, 2026, and in its 10th edition, it has everything that mountain runners' hearts desire: pure alpine trails, steep ascents, flowing downhills, and breathtaking summit experiences.

The Competition
All competitions can be completed individually or in pairs:
- Walser Ultra: 63 kilometers | 3,900 meters of elevation gain | A day full of emotions on a spectacular route
- Widderstein Trail: 15 kilometers | 980 meters of elevation gain | The "short distance" that packs a punch
- Walser Trail: 29 kilometers | 1,700 meters of elevation gain | The little brother of the Walser Ultra with its own character
- Walser Trail Challenge Pro = Widderstein Trail + Walser Ultra
- Walser Trail Challenge Classic = Widderstein Trail + Walser Trail
