His breakthrough came in 1999 with the cult hit "Anton aus Tirol," which catapulted him to the top of the charts almost overnight. What followed was a career full of superlatives: With "Hey Baby," he achieved international success - a song that fills dance floors worldwide and is a must-have at major sporting events like the Super Bowl. By the time of "Ein Stern (der deinen Namen trägt)," DJ ÖTZI had written music history and broken all records in the German-speaking world.
