Summer Night Ball / A Midsummer Masquerade

St. Florian / Linz – The Summer Night Ball 2026 invites visitors to the first masquerade ball at Stift St. Florian on June 20, under the title "A Midsummer Masquerade."

Inspired by the British Regency era and the romantic flair of a well-known successful series, guests will immerse themselves in a world away from the often stressful everyday life of our modern times. The baroque architecture of Stift St. Florian provides the perfect backdrop for this event. A free shuttle bus will transport visitors from Linz's main square directly to Stift St. Florian and back.

Show acts, including an impressive fire show in the courtyard of the abbey, which is rarely accessible for events, will create special moments, while the crowning of the ball queen, the "Diamond of the Night," will bring excitement and glamour. The winner can look forward to prizes worth around 1,000 euros.

Musical variety will be provided by a string quartet and a ball band, before the celebration continues with modern music at Le Jardin for the after-ball.

The ticket price of 79 euros includes not only admission to the ball but also access to the after-ball, a welcome drink, and a shuttle service from Linz's main square to the abbey and back.
