Finn is just a small note in a well-known birthday song – until one day he dreams of a beautiful melody. Determined, Finn steps out, leaving his old song with a hole behind, and sets off in search of the melody of his dreams. But the world is vast and full of music: Finn discovers many places and ever new music styles, yet the melody remains elusive. Eventually, Finn finds his melody in a very special place...

The children's opera Klangstreich relies entirely on the expressiveness of the human voice, exploring all its possibilities from singing to speaking, from humming to beatboxing. Two female singers and one male singer tell the story of the note that goes on an adventure, while simultaneously taking the audience on a journey through music styles and sound worlds. The music of the opera, which will premiere in 2025, is composed by the young composer Marc L. Vogler, who, together with Dany Handschuh, adapted the eponymous children's book by Inge Brendler.
