Sports are an integral part of our culture and for many people, an important aspect of their identity. Intense emotions are associated with it, and people from very different backgrounds come together through sports; for many, it serves as a counterbalance to everyday work life. It can overcome language barriers and cultural boundaries and aids in the development of children and adolescents. In 2026, the school and sports town of Hartberg will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Gymnastics and Sports Club. The seven member clubs and nine sections of TSV Hartberg will share stories about their sport, the history behind it, and the joy it brings. The exhibition will showcase successes, failures, anecdotes, and visions for the future from both recreational and competitive sports.
