"Delicious & Hidden Gems" Tour

The tour combines **history and cuisine**, taking you to places and corners of the town that reveal fascinating and exciting stories from the past centuries of this former imperial city. But the modern era also has plenty to marvel at. Pfullendorf is known to many for its numerous **sandstone cellars**. More than 800 years ago, the town was built on a molasse hill, a relic of the last ice age. Hidden beneath many of the houses are cellars and passageways that were used by residents for both private and professional purposes. Particularly impressive today are the rock cellar at the Hotel Adler and the cellar at the Hotel Krone. In the latter, participants are treated to a **beer** and one of the region-wide famous, homemade **Maultaschen**, in keeping with the history of the establishment. This tour starts at the market square and lasts approximately 2 hours. Sturdy footwear is recommended, and each person should bring a flashlight.
