Interactive Workshop: Basic Velouté Sauces

The perfect sauce is the heart of many dishes—in the Velouté & Basic Sauces course with Master Chef Benjamin Kraus from Café Sahnehäuble, participants will learn the fundamentals of classic sauce-making. In a small group of no more than ten people, the professional chef clearly demonstrates how to make a delicate velouté and other essential basic sauces, as well as how to use them in a variety of ways in your home kitchen. The focus is on practical tips, expert know-how, and cooking and tasting together. The course offers the ideal opportunity to deepen your understanding of basic cooking techniques, take home new inspiration, and spend an enjoyable evening in a relaxed atmosphere. The course begins at 7:00 p.m. and lasts approximately three hours. A glass of sparkling wine is served as a welcome drink. Additionally, participants may take two portions of their creations home. Please bring your own takeout container for this purpose.
