Wings of the Night – an exquisite piano concert at a late hour in the crypt of St. Peter's Church in Vienna: The Italian pianist Mario Eritreo is one of Europe's most sought-after artists. In 2016, he performed the complete cycle of the six organ sonatas by J.S. Bach in St. Peter's Church in Vienna, a feat achieved by only three other artists to date. He collaborates with the most renowned orchestras in Europe and is particularly known for his fine sensitivity to the nuances of the compositions. A master of his craft, he feels equally at home in large concert halls as well as in the intimate setting of the crypt concerts. The crypt is pleasantly temperate at any time of the year.
