Daniel Gárdonyi (b. 1982) comes from a family of Hungarian-German musicians and received his first artistic inspiration from his father, Zsolt Gárdonyi. He studied Church Music A and pursued a major in organ pedagogy at the conservatories in Bayreuth and Stuttgart. In 2007, he was a prize winner at the Bayreuth-Regensburg Piano Competition for church music students. In 2010–2011, he completed his professional internship in church music as an assistant to KMD Kay Johannsen at the Stiftskirche in Stuttgart. He subsequently served as district cantor at the Liebfrauenkirche in Frankenberg (Eder). Daniel Gárdonyi has lived in Würzburg as a freelance musician since 2016, performs internationally as an organist, and regularly teaches as a guest lecturer in organ and music theory at the Schlüchtern Academy of Church Music.
