Strolling in Mörike’s Footsteps

We warmly invite all SWV friends and guests who would like to follow in Mörike’s footsteps.
The Mörike Trail takes you on an approximately 8-kilometer journey through Mörike’s fascinating history and biography—explained on 8 informational signs—with botanical and cultural highlights along the way. The hike begins at St. John’s Church in Nagold, and after a few kilometers through the city, mostly natural trails and paths lead up to the Bad Rötenbach district, over the Henschinger and the Eisberg, and back down into the city. Here, a detour to the Zeller-Mörike Garden is recommended, transporting visitors back to the Biedermeier era.
Once back at the starting point, we’ll stop for refreshments.
