Rottweil – one of my homes

Film screening and discussion on the topic of migration and the current situation for migrants in Germany and the region. In May 2025, six people with migrant backgrounds living in the Rottweil district collaborated with professional filmmaker Lisa Glahn to develop and shoot the documentary “Rottweil – One of My Homelands.” In this 35-minute film, Raziq Safdari from Afghanistan, Alicja Garcia from Poland, Serap Mer from Turkey, Khalil Camara from Guinea, Lynda Cullen from Ireland, and Linda Vanessa Kameni from Cameroon share their stories of arriving in Germany. The project was initiated by the Catholic Adult Education Center (keb) in the Rottweil District e.V. and the Protestant Educational Institute of Southwest Württemberg in cooperation with the City of Rottweil’s Integration Office, and funded by keb drs e.V. Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart and Sparkasse Rottweil. We will screen the film, followed by a discussion on the topic of migration and the current situation for migrants in Germany and the region. Linda Cullen and Raziq Safdari, both protagonists of the film, as well as Janine Niefer, Executive Director of the Evangelical Educational Institute of Southwest Württemberg, will also be in attendance.
