On the second weekend of Advent, Rottenburg’s historic old town is transformed into a magical Christmas wonderland.
Festively decorated wooden huts and stalls around the market square invite you to stroll around: artisans, local clubs, and vendors present handmade gifts, festive decorations, and culinary specialties—from mulled wine and children’s punch to savory and sweet treats.
Local music groups and bands accompany the market bustle with festive melodies and create a Christmas atmosphere.
The daily visits from St. Nicholas and Black Peter, as well as the live nativity scene at the Zehntscheuer, make not only children’s eyes light up.
