An atmospheric "Swabian Evening" featuring cabaret by Käthe Kächele, known from radio and television, with Swabian music and a lavish spread—naturally including Swabian specialties. The VdK Nendingen chapter cordially invites you to the “Swabian Evening” on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Nendinger Donauhallen. We are delighted to welcome Käthe Kächele, known from radio and television, to our event. The band “Maiensäss” will provide authentic musical entertainment, and your culinary needs will be well taken care of with a variety of Swabian dishes and a champagne and Aperol bar. When Käthe Kächele takes the stage with the energy of a Swabian whirlwind, it usually takes only a few words before her famous spark inevitably catches on with the audience. And it quickly becomes clear: With this woman, there are no half-measures. It’s full steam ahead: “All or nothing!” And so the spark ignites into a veritable fireworks display of sharp punchlines and Swabian temperament. Restraint is a foreign concept to Käthe; she’s practically bursting with energy. One torrent of words after another explodes from her. Käthe is sassy, knows it all, gets worked up, and takes a stand. Gladly against the opposite sex. But even more gladly for her own. Käthe’s show is colorful and multifaceted, with a strong sense of relatability for the audience.
