Movies Under the Stars - No Hit Wonder

Daniel has missed the mark. He wanted to make a big splash, but instead, he finds himself in a closed facility and isn't allowed to leave. He was once at the top – Olympiastadion, 10,000 lighters in the evening breeze, everyone singing his song. Now, he is at rock bottom – not even the jungle camp wants him anymore. The only thing he has left is that cursed song, to which he owes everything, and which has simultaneously taken everything from him.

Dr. Lissi Waldstett researches happiness. More precisely, she only researches when she isn't emptying bedpans in the closed facility. Because with her research topic, one doesn't get rich – happiness is not a reimbursable service. She needs a breakthrough, something that will attract attention. When Daniel wakes up in her ward, Lissi sees her chance and makes him a dubious offer under the table: She will help him if he helps her. All he has to do is make a group of lonely people happy with her. Of all things, through singing. And so, Daniel and Lissi unexpectedly stumble into an adventure. Everyone thinks they have the other under control. They get entangled with each other, blackmail one another, lose themselves in a group of lovable outsiders, and… yes… somehow they all sing for their lives.
