"What interests me most is the explosion of different musical galaxies in such a short time in the 20th century," says pianist Tamara Stefanovich. Here, the avant-garde maestro, renowned for making the impossible possible with works by Boulez or Bartók, reunites with the trio Dell-Lillinger-Westergaard. "In search of new music," as stated in their biography, "the trio focuses on the intersection of contemporary music, experimental and avant-garde jazz." A recording of explosive improvisations by SDLW was released on the aptly named label "bastille musique," plundering European capitals or suburbs in the track titles and creating something excitingly fresh from the ruins – new music that lives up to its name.
