For a long time, Trollinger was derided—and not just by red wine snobs—as reddish and thin. But now even wine critics are talking about a renaissance of this traditional Württemberg wine. Unfortunately, consumers do not adequately appreciate its quality, and the area devoted to growing this traditional variety is declining. Journalist Kilian Krauth sheds light on how this came to be in his entertaining lecture, where wine, of course, is a must.
