Somewhere in Between - Part II

Following the sold-out premiere in 2025, Wolfgang Fischer (piano) and Michael Pflumm (tenor) are looking forward to continuing their concert series: “Somewhere in Between…”. Tenor Michael Pflumm, from Hechingen-Schlatt, is at home on international opera stages. He has performed as a guest artist at renowned venues such as La Scala in Milan and the Semperoper in Dresden, and has been a professor of voice at the Saar College of Music since 2024. Pianist Wolfgang Fischer studied on a scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he graduated with honors. He has performed on Broadway, served as a guest lecturer nationwide, and can be seen on television as well as on tour with artists such as Richard Clayderman and Helene Fischer. The two met while studying at the University of Music in Trossingen. Afterward, their musical paths diverged. Wolfgang Fischer devoted himself primarily to jazz, while Michael Pflumm embarked on an international career on the opera stage. Now they are back on stage together, presenting a diverse crossover evening featuring music from opera and musicals, as well as elements of swing and pop. The audience can look forward to a stylistically varied and entertaining concert evening.
