The Sontheim Old Town Festival invites you to enjoy music, socializing, and good times. Featuring the bands “24/7” and “Gravity,” a community reception, St. Martinus Chapel, Alex Hahn, and many clubs and activities for the whole family.
From July 17 to 19, Sontheim’s Old Town will once again transform into a lively gathering place for young and old alike. The Sontheim Old Town Festival stands for community, cultural diversity, music, and a spirit of togetherness—supported by clubs, institutions, churches, and dedicated residents.
The festival kicks off on Friday with the official opening and the tapping of the keg. Afterward, visitors can look forward to a varied program featuring performances by the Erwin-Römmele Kindergarten, hip-hop, music and choir performances, as well as a health talk by Corpore Sano. In the evening, the band “24/7” will create the perfect festival atmosphere with well-known pop and rock covers.
Saturday is all about the community festival and diversity. The highlight is the community reception with Mayor Ringle. The program is rounded out by dance, music, and performances by regional groups and organizations. In the evening, the party band “Gravity” will get the Old Town dancing with current hits and classics.
On Sunday, the festival traditionally begins with an ecumenical church service. Following the service, musical and cultural performances—including the St. Martinus Band, the Kling Dance School, the Thera Allstars, and Alex Hahn—invite visitors to linger.
Numerous clubs, organizations, and booths will offer culinary specialties, information, and hands-on activities for the whole family. The 2026 Sontheim Old Town Festival combines tradition and modernity, creating a gathering place for the entire region.
