At the Heat Island Summer School, you’ll become urban researchers yourselves: You’ll build and program your own senseBox—a mobile measuring device with real sensors—and take it around Heilbronn to track down temperature differences. Where is it hottest? What role do asphalt, buildings, and green spaces play? And what could we do about it? By the end, you’ll turn your data into maps and gain a whole new perspective on your city.
