Culture Open Air 2026: Summer Festival & Book Flea Market (City Library)

The City Library is hosting a summer festival: Look forward to a book flea market, coffee and cake, face painting for kids, a mobile play center, Blue-Bots, and a show for the whole family. The City Library invites you to its big summer festival and offers a varied program for the whole family. In addition to regular library services, there will be coffee and cake as well as a large book flea market in the foyer of the Pausa-Tonnenhalle. Children can discover new things through play while programming with Blue-Bots, get their faces painted, or get active with the Mokka e.V. playmobile. At 3 p.m., “Der Puppenbändiger” will amaze and entertain with a magic and ventriloquism show. A lively day for browsing, participating, lingering, and enjoying—ideal for families, book lovers, and curious visitors.
