**Neu-Windeck Open-Air Castle Festival - THE CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS** Three summer evenings set against the backdrop of a 700-year-old castle, featuring opera, ballet, and theater under the open sky. Overlooking the Rhine Valley, the ruins of Neu-Windeck Castle become the setting for a summer festival weekend once a year. The harmondo Open-Air Castle Festival enters its fourth season on July 17, 18, and 19. The musical theater and ballet program curated by Joanna Choi and Niclas Oettermann features works by **Puccini, Strauss, Mahler, Bernstein**, and **Saint-Saëns**, including **“The Carnival of the Animals”**. The Calestec Ensemble will perform, comprising international soloists, dancers, and musicians from renowned European venues (**Paris Garnier, Royal Albert Hall, Hamburg State Theater, Komische Oper Berlin**). A culinary experience featuring regional dishes, select wines, and beverages will accompany the evenings at the castle.
