Poetry Slam

With its poetry slam, the cultural association Tal-Gang-Art e. V. is once again making a strong mark on Albstadt’s cultural calendar. In the auditorium of the Tailfingen Progymnasium, wordsmiths and rhyming artists come together to engage in a creative competition—without any props, but with language, expression, and plenty of stage presence. Anything goes, as long as it is self-written and performed. The texts are sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes provocative, and sometimes humorous. In the end, the audience decides who takes home the title of “Slammer of the Year 2026.” The evening invites you to discover new perspectives and let yourself be swept away by a wide variety of stories. The event is hosted by Tübingen-based spoken-word poet Anton Betz, who guides the audience through the program with his experience and feel for the scene, bringing top-tier slammers from Baden-Württemberg to the stage.
