Summer is getting serious – and so is Marburg: On July 14, 2026, the Marburg Poetry Slam is moving the stage outdoors. For the 149th time, rhymes, raps, whispers, and shouts will resonate in the courtyard of KFZ Marburg under the open sky. Amidst warm summer nights and flickering fairy lights, words meet the warm summer air.

Poets bring their best texts – six minutes of time, no props, just them, the microphone, and an audience. Every sentence carries further, every laugh lingers a little longer.

Stella Jantosca and Tobias Beitzl will guide this open-air evening with their usual wit and a fine sense of timing – somewhere between moderation and excitement, between announcements and winks.
