Medieval Market - The Splendor of the Age of Chivalry

From October 9 to 11, 2026, Stauffenberg Castle will be transformed into the setting for a medieval spectacle: market stalls, reenactment groups, and minstrels invite visitors to relive the “glory of the age of chivalry.” Local clubs will ensure that no one goes hungry or thirsty. The diverse culinary offerings range from sausage burgers to pork loin steaks, accompanied by mead and mulled wine. Throughout the grounds, musicians, jugglers, and traveling performers provide entertainment and a lively market atmosphere. New this year, a storyteller enriches the program, and a theater group delights visitors with various performances. Of course, the popular jousting tournament and the impressive fire show are not to be missed.
