It's Kerwe time again in Mörzheim: Four days of wine festival, music, and village life from July 17 to July 20

It's summer in Landau, which means it's time for the wine festivals of the town villages. After the first festivals of the season in Wollmesheim and Arzheim, Mörzheim now invites you to the traditional wine festival from Friday, July 17, to Monday, July 20. Celebrations will take place at the well-known festival locations in the village: in the wine tavern "Alte Kelter," in the school yard of the community center, at the Wambsganß winery, at the organic winery Sommer, and on the popular fairground on "Im Kirchweg." The official opening of the wine festival will take place on Friday, July 17, at 7 p.m. in the "Alte Kelter." Together with Mayor Lukas Hartmann, local councilor Carina Langer will kick off the festive weekend.

Visitors can expect a varied program for young and old over all four days. The musical atmosphere will be provided by "Los Dos Hombres" on Friday evening in the schoolyard of the community center and the band "Eased" on Saturday. More live music will be available on Friday evening at the organic winery Sommer with "Flash'K'Swag" and with Herbert Lang on Kerwe Monday. Friends of electronic sounds will find their enjoyment at the electronic and house evening at the organic winery Sommer on Saturday.

A special highlight is Kerwe Sunday, which is dedicated entirely to families. After the traditional MundArt-Kerwe service at 10:30 a.m. at the Wambsganß winery, a colorful family program will begin at 11:30 a.m. Featured will be the music band Kleine Kalmit Arzheim, the Reptilium, a magic show with Ted Louis, and a greeting from SPD state chairman Alexander Schweitzer at 1 p.m.

Already on Saturday from 3 p.m., the popular courtyard flea market invites visitors to stroll and explore through the streets of Mörzheim. The Kerwe participants have adjusted their opening hours and culinary offerings accordingly and look forward to numerous guests. In the schoolyard of the community center, for example, there will be waffles.

The Mörzheim wine festival also has a lot to offer culinary-wise: From regional wines to hearty specialties, as well as coffee and cake, there is something for every taste. The offering is complemented by the exhibition "Art & Style," which will be on display at the Wambsganß winery on all festival days.
