The German Armed Forces meets brass

Charity Concert by the Ulm Army Band For more than five decades, the Army Band from Ulm, on the Danube, has been delighting audiences throughout Germany as the musical ambassador of the German Armed Forces and regularly represents the Federal Republic at international events. This year, too, the more than 50 professionally trained musicians will present an impressive concert in the atmospheric courtyard of Stauffenberg Castle. The diverse program ranges from traditional marching music and original symphonic wind music to film scores, classical compositions, modern light music, and rousing big band sounds. This varied mix promises a truly special concert experience. Admission to this special musical evening is free, though donations are warmly welcomed. As in previous years, half of the proceeds from donations will go to Bundeswehr charitable organizations and the other half to social projects in the city of Albstadt. After the concert, all guests are invited to round out the evening in a convivial atmosphere. Food and drinks will, of course, be provided.
