Concert: Andre Bernovski / Brioso Quartet

Andre Bernovski (guitar), Katrin Fischer (violin), Tobias Hohl (violin), Claudius Fischer (viola), Tabea Reich (cello): Guitarist Andre Bernovski’s playing combines the depth of the East, the passion of the South, and the elegance of the European style. The program “La Vida Breve” features works from the classical guitar repertoire in new, subtly nuanced arrangements for guitar and string ensemble. The music takes listeners on a journey through Spain and Latin America and is characterized by colorful soundscapes, rhythmic vitality, and quiet moments of melancholy. Works by Albéniz, Villa-Lobos, de Falla, and other masters capture the southern spirit of life. Guitarist Andre Bernovski already presented excerpts from this program last year together with the Rhein-Neckar Youth Philharmonic on a concert tour of France and Spain.
