Annual Concert of the Frohsinn 1838 Zell a. H. Choral Society

On Saturday, October 24, it’s that time of year again: the “Frohsinn” choir invites you to its annual concert. The event begins at 6:00 p.m., and the singers are already looking forward to presenting the audience with a sophisticated and varied program that evening—one they’ve worked very hard on during numerous rehearsals. For all members, singing in the choir is an important part of their lives—one in which they gladly invest their time. It allows them to shake off the stresses of everyday life, relax, and find peace. The repertoire selected for the concert evening offers something for every taste , ranging from traditional to modern, from simple folk tunes to disco sounds. This demands a great deal from the choir members, but they are, after all, ambitious and eager to demonstrate their skills—and for that, the effort is well worth it. Conductor Alexandra Lauer, who leads the choir and consistently brings out the best in the group with her energy, talent, and patience, will once again guide the choir through this concert with her musical expertise. The evening will be musically enriched by guest performances from the Gengenbach/Schwaibach Men’s Chorus, the Rammersweier Chorus, and our English-singing project choir. The chorus hopes the evening will be a success and would be delighted to welcome a large number of guests.
