**Through extraordinary close-ups, the Photography Guild, in collaboration with the city’s marketing department, shows just how many surprises lie in familiar corners.** Familiar places suddenly take on an air of mystery: What at first glance appears to be abstract black-and-white art turns out, upon closer inspection, to be a close-up of Schramberg’s downtown. With the campaign **“Zoom In – Schramberg Through the Lens”**, the **Schramberg Photography Guild** and **Schramberg City Marketing** invite you to a special discovery tour from **July 18 to September 30, 2026**. Members of the Schramberg Photography Guild have captured striking scenes of the downtown area up close with their cameras. These unusual framing choices create fascinating perspectives that show familiar buildings, facades, works of art, and other details in a completely new light. The large-format black-and-white photographs will be displayed in the storefront windows of various downtown shops during the event period. This transforms a stroll through the city into an exciting journey of discovery. Accompanying the exhibition is a photo scavenger hunt with a contest. The task: Track down the scenes shown in the photos throughout the city center and locate where each was taken. You can participate **online or by filling out a contest entry form**. All information, as well as the **QR code for online participation**, can be found in the storefronts of participating businesses. Alternatively, contest entry forms are available in the **lobby of the Citizen Services Office and the Tourist Information Center at City Hall**. The deadline for submissions is **September 30, 2026**. HGV gift certificates will be raffled off among all participants who submit the correct answers. With this joint campaign, the **Schramberg Photography Guild** and **Schramberg City Marketing** aim to draw attention to the small, unique features of Schramberg’s downtown area while also inspiring people to take a stroll through the city.
