Eppingen
Following two successful editions in 2023 and 2024, the festival atmosphere is returning to Weiherpark! For a few days, Eppingen will once again transform into a hub for music, enjoyment, and good cheer.
With a colorful and diverse program that’s sure to have something for every age and taste, we warmly welcome you to our half-timbered town starting August 6. Join us in looking forward to the third edition of the Eppingen Festival Summer and enjoy carefree hours in a relaxed atmosphere—whether with family, friends, or colleagues.
This year’s program stands out for its balanced mix of tried-and-true series, fresh ideas, and special events. Music, cabaret, theater, and cultural offerings spanning a wide range of styles reflect the diversity that has defined the Eppingen Festival Summer since 2023. The goal was to offer a program that both delights long-time visitors and appeals to new audiences.
For the third edition of the festival, there is also a special focus on highlight events, which feature top-tier artists and extraordinary productions. These events set specific highlights and promise unique concert experiences in Weiherpark during the festival period:
- Saturday, August 8, 8:00 p.m. – “VIER GEWINNT” Fanta 4 Tribute
- Wednesday, August 19, 7:00 p.m. – Comedy Night powered by SHURE Europe
- Saturday, August 22, 7:00 p.m. – Udonaut & die Paniker
- Friday, August 28, 7:00 p.m. – Eros Ramazotti Tribute
Tickets for these highlights will be available at the box office.
In addition, the festival summer will once again delight visitors with the event series made famous by the 2022 Garden Show, which extend the festival period and offer unique opportunities for social interaction. The series begin on:
- Tuesday, June 9 – Fit im Park, lawn next to the Schwanen Community Center
- Wednesday, July 1 – MUTH-Immo Sundowner, Weiherterrasse
- Tuesday, August 11 – Herzblut, the Church Series, Weiherpark
The Kraichgauhelden series has already generated a lot of buzz in the run-up to the festival: Through a band vote, the audience was able to help shape the series for the first time by voting for two musical acts. Eppingen is especially looking forward to the winners’ nights:
- Thursday, August 6 – FATE, kickoff of the “Kraichgauhelden” series, Weiherpark
- Thursday, August 27 – Evermind, finale of the “Kraichgau Heroes” series, Weiherpark
The program is complemented by events for families and children that focus on age-appropriate cultural offerings, thereby specifically engaging even the youngest visitors.
- Saturday, August 8 – Children’s concert – “The Little Witch”
- Saturday, August 15 – “DSCHUNGEL BANDE” by Rodscha and Tom
With this combination of accessible offerings and select highlights, the 2026 Eppingen Festival Summer once again underscores its commitment to making culture accessible to all while presenting high-quality events.
The Eppingen Festival Summer makes it clear that it is a celebration for and with the entire city: During the festival in August, local partners will provide on-site dining, including Restaurant Helgets, the ARAS Bar, the Weiherbistro, and the Freunde des Bürgerparks e.V., which will operate a wine stand on the main event days.
The best part: Most events are free of charge. A small admission fee will be charged for four selected highlights. These events require payment for visitors aged 14 and older; the price is €15 per person per evening and is marked with a corresponding symbol. Due to lack of demand, there will no longer be a season pass.
Please note: In the event of inclement weather, some events may be canceled.
