Harmersbach's Summer of Local Heritage

Black Forest snack specialties, lively music, and dancing—that’s the theme of the Harmersbach Summer Festival. Wednesday evenings in 2026: July 1: Father and Son provide musical entertainment. The Oberharmersbach Traditional Dance Group demonstrates, through various dance and folk customs performances, that tradition in Oberharmersbach is bursting with life. The fan club serves regional snack specialties and cold drinks. July 15: Steffi & Felix provide musical entertainment Under the motto “Little People—Big Impact,” the children’s folk dance group will perform various dances on the dance floor. The Friends of the Historic Civil Guard will serve regional snack specialties and cold drinks. July 29: Helga & Sascha provide musical entertainment. The Oberharmersbach Traditional Costume Dance Group demonstrates through various dance and folk custom performances that tradition in Oberharmersbach is truly alive and well. The fan club will serve regional snack specialties and cold drinks. August 12: To conclude the “Heimatsommer” evenings, Michaela Neuberger and Felix Huber will present their program “Auf gut badisch.” The Oberharmersbach Traditional Dance Group will demonstrate, through various dance and folk performances, that tradition in Oberharmersbach is truly alive and well. The support associations for the Sonnenblume Daycare Center and the swimming pool will serve regional snack specialties and cold drinks. In addition, the Flammenkuchen bakery “Platz” will be on site, offering a variety of Flammenkuchen. Refreshments available starting at 6:30 p.m.; the program begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free! Donations are warmly welcome. Events will take place only if the weather is good.
