**Dream Destinations in the South -** The “Tourism in HeilbronnerLand” event invites you to discover your home region—we live where others go on vacation.

**Events in EPPINGEN**
2:00 p.m. – Public city tour with a visit to the ice cellar
The meeting point is at the Pfeifferturm, Kirchgasse 3. Participation is free of charge.
Immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of Eppingen’s half-timbered ensemble, featuring around 120 exposed half-timbered houses, and let yourself be enchanted by it. This city tour includes the opportunity to visit an ice cellar.
In the past, so-called ice cellars were used to cool food and beverages. These ice cellars are still privately owned today. On this special event day, visitors can tour this unique space.
2:00–4:00 p.m. – City and Half-Timbered House Museum “Alte Universität” Open to the Public – Free admission!
The City and Half-Timbered House Museum “Alte Universität,” located in the heart of Eppingen’s Old Town, is open to visitors.

**Tourism Enhances Local Quality of Life**
The HeilbronnerLand is not only a strong economic hub but also an attractive leisure and vacation destination. The diverse offerings in the areas of culture, nature, health, recreation, and cuisine make the region appealing not only to visitors but also enrich the daily lives of local residents.
The region benefits from the many day-trippers and overnight guests: they help ensure that numerous tourist attractions, landmarks, and recreational facilities can be sustainably maintained and further developed. Tourism is thus an important economic factor and, at the same time, enhances the quality of life for residents.
**Special Experiences for the Event Day**
To allow local residents to experience the region’s diverse offerings firsthand, the partners of the HeilbronnerLand Tourism Association have put together a variety of activities. This year marks the third time the event has been held, this time in collaboration with Heilbronn Marketing GmbH, Neckar-Zaber-Tourismus e. V., and the cities of Bad Wimpfen, Gundelsheim, and Eppingen.
Local Transit Included
For some activities, travel within the HNV area is included in the participation fee. Tickets for these offers are available in the partners’ online shops.
